Well the 14th has nearly ended,(10 mins for the UK) and just as most of us expected nothing happened, I cant wait for the excuses of why the alien ship did not show, they will have to be good  Maybe the date will be reset?

i agree with you ,as children im convinced we are much more sensitive to alien beings and supernatural goings on.

i suffer from sleep paralysis which others call alien abduction ,if any of you suffer too youll know how totally terrifying it is to be lying on your back wide awake wanting to open your eyes and get up but your totally paralysed and you cant even shout or open your mouth for what seems ages when infact its usually 10 or 20 seconds but its absoloutely horrific!
i believe its alien life trying to abduct me or doing experiments on me.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I have a story of my own. I live in Scotland, North East. I was working on a building site way out in the country side. The reason the building was way out there is because we were building a huge home for dogs to be trained to help blind people (guide dogs). Less noise means more concentration. Anyway, because there are no buildings at all you could see the sky clear for miles, just flat land and sky. Now on this particular day there was not a cloud in the sky... I was working with a friend on some fencing, I remember it as clear as day! I for no reason at all looked directly up from where I was standing and from about a half of a mile up or so I seen this shiny metal looking plate just sitting there, no movement at all. I stopped my friend and say "David look up there and tell me what you think", he looked up and then said "You gotta be f**king kidding me!" we both looked at it for about 3 minutes solid. It was just sitting there as if it were watching us, trying to figure out what we were doing,.... it then entered my head that I was looking at a UFO. I couldn't believe my luck! It almost felt magical, I was actually looking at this ship from outer space. I studied it for a further few minutes with David basically in awe, then we heard out boss should LUNCH!!! we crapped our pants as we were just stood still for so long. We both looked over at our boss and said OK then I looked at David and said lets go get the other guys. As we ran to the cabin where we had lunch I looked up again because it was just such a relief to have been in such company as this, but anyway when I looked up, it had vanished. Completely vanished!!

From that day forward I have done nothing more but become quite addicted to Aliens, UFO's, you name it, 2012, Governments, Illuminati etc etc.

I hope you enjoyed my story and I look forward to hearing many more. They exist as do we! Peace.

What! hang on a moment you were looking at a spaceship, both of you for like 3 minutes? Suddenly your boss calls out " lunch!!" and you just say "OK"? You didn`t think to mention to your boss that you were looking at a craft from outer space and he didn`t think to look up to see what you were looking at? but thought some other workmates may like to see it? Man this is possibly the worst story about ufo s i have ever heard. I did enjoy your "story" though, it made me laugh anyway. Next!

I do not deny what people say about UFOs but I wander, why only such things are seen in US. Do the aliens know that US is most advanced country on earth? Or some spy friend? Or our Ameriac fellowmen are protecting us?

by aellacyning,
I understand your wife's feelings over a matter like this. My sighting was when I was @10. I have only in the past few years have come to understand that such things exist and the importance and potential of our place in the universe. I have told few people I know but I have recounted the tale with my wife and she assures me that she believes me at least to the point of what I saw. I expect no one to believe me even my wife because of the import of this and how it will at once destroy the earth and bring it anew again. Now with this knowledge I am afraid--for everyone. We don't know the game or even what the rules are. We'll have to begin to acknowledge the fact that we don't have any aces; we'd be lucky for a rule book. I guess the thing to do is persevere and hope that there'll be races who live by a rule of law, hope & compassion--I sure as hell hope it wasn't passed in DC--and help us adjust to a new wonderment.

I know exactly what you mean by the mind trying to build a structure that it thinks it sees. Consider the fact that the human brain attaches great importance of order of things. If you have a glass filled with cold tea and you actually have pepsi in the glass. For an instant the mind tries to arrange taste for pepsi and tastes something than is neither tea or pepsi. Another example of the brain to make patterns of living and inanimate objects out of clouds. The mind even for the least of us is an "artiste" at putting bits & pieces together to resemble something familiar to us. I am just beginning to realise the complexity & beauty of this engineering marvel called a human being. The same holds true for every living thing.

Sleep Paralysis & Lucid Dreaming: SLEEP PARALYSIS: I have suffered from the terror of sleep paralysis since my teen years up till today. I was going through group therapy at the local VA hospital and I asked my Psychologist had he ever heard of Sleep Paralysis. I asked my Psychiatrist if he kew about it and he didn't. I can understand why people lose it when they attempt to wake up or just before sleep. They say it's kind of a sleep halfway house. It's sheer terror for me. I have tried to explain this condition to my wife and she helps especially while we're asleep. Consider for a moment that you cannot move any part of your body and you are alone. It is you & totally you who must do all the work to educate yourself about this terror. It used to happen fairly regularly but generally in an afternoon nap; fortunately I have few incidents as I've aged but not entirely. I am only taking 1/3 the dosage of my depression meds that I used to. LUCID DREAMING: this is a condition that your consciousness has split itself into a consciousnes of a OnLooker & Dream Performer. You feel that you are fully concious and if seems you could wake up on demand. I don't ever remember waking up on command. Y'all will have to read up on this one. It's not scary just weird.

It is implausible, to say the least, that in sightings where there is more than one witness to the same sighting  - it is a "trick of the mind", as a couple of people here have suggested. If the witnesses are from varying walks of life and with different personalities, how could they all be "tricks of the mind", especially where two or more people ALL SEE THE SAME THINGS. It is exceptionally likely that in the case of multiple witnesses, they are all experiencing exactly the same "hallucination". There are many cases where the witnesses have never shown any propensity for imagining things and so it is most unlikely that what they are seeing is the product of their imagination. That said, of course when people take drugs or are predisposed to having hallucinations anyway, we can never be sure whether what they see has any basis in reality - but how many people who report such sightings and/or alien abduction experiences fall into that category? Not very many, I can assure you.
