I'd say you aren't the only one and that you have been here a long time if your of one species but if your of another good job. We aren't exactly responsible for our ignorance we've been trained or breed to have tunnel vision and some of us have become narrow minded in our ability to accept things, ideas and beings out of the norm. So many of us live in fear of change and new ideas. There are many who are expanding at this time and a new human is emerging that can perhaps accept the idea of your species living among us. I hope that in time you can unveil yourselves and live among us freely, that we can come to accept our differences with grace and understanding. I honestly don't know even how I would respond if I saw your true form, although when I travel in my dreams I have met species that don't look like us and even in the awake state have seen something that others don't see but I remain silent and calm in my observations because I'm not sure that I want them to know that I am seeing them and I'm not sure of their intent. Some species have good intent and some don't. I believe there are those amongst us that work with other beings on a regular basis working on projects together in the earth and a race of beings that are far advance of this society that exist right now keeping themselves cloaked you might say. Perhaps the ones that General Byrd ran into years ago, I think that was the General. So thanks for revealing yourself and thank you for being wise in your understanding of our limitations.
