I thought helium was a lot more difficult to fuse than hydrogen.

yes that's the stuff, its probably the real reason for renewed interest involving Luna missions, just greed. Anyway, if it works good stage post for missions to other planets.

I wouldn't call it greed, exactly - we've got to get power somehow, and nuclear fusion is a lot cleaner than fossil fuels.

hello unbeliever how are you? someone will make a fat profit and it won't be the likes of me or you. correct me if i am wrong, fusion is still in its early stages and i understand the abundance of helium -3 on the moon because it's not deflected back into space like here on earth.
