Justin is from south wales and seen the thing between 12 and 3 am on the 1.1.09. i filmed what i saw on the other side of the Irish sea at 00.09 on the 1.1.09. could this be the same thing any way get back to me and let us know what you think.

New years eve 2008-2009 not sure of exact time but it was late at night possibly 12-3am. A bright orange dot was noticed by me and my friends just above the horizon. I first thought it was a firework but as it was so slow and lasted so long this was ruled out.

It moved up slowly until it reached pretty much straight above us. Then flickered a few times and disappeared. It was visible for around 2-3 minutes. We don’t think it was a plane due to it colour but more to the point, it was really foggy and cloudy. If it were a plane, it would have had to have been really low for us to see it so clearly but there was no noise to hear.

A friend of mine had seen two others that night, I only saw the one. I have no idea what it was and id love to find out. The idea of it being and alien spacecraft is a ridiculous assumption but it has baffled me.

I don’t believe it to be a Chinese sky lantern as it was travelling way to fast, plus I do not believe a candle flame would be bright enough to see so clearly so far away in such dense cloud and fog

Hello,

On two separate nights I've seen orange lights in the sky. I know what planes look like, the color of these lights are unmistakable, no flashing. The first night was heavy overcast, tonight was perfectly clear. Following is the reports as I wrote them. Has anybody else seen these Orange lights? I never expected to see the Orange light after the first time, but I did.

I was driving west on Bolsa Street and noticed an orange light in the sky. It was a color like I’ve never seen before, kind of like a candle flame. The light was moving east and was south of me. I stopped at the store at Springdale and Bolsa Streets. I watched the light move slowly east for about a minute. (I REALLY wish I took a picture of it now) I went into the store for about five minutes. When I came out the light had moved west and was almost overhead. It was an overcast night so the clouds reflected the orange glow. I’m guessing that the clouds were about 1500 feet up that night. There was a slight wind out of the south, the light did not seem to be affected by the wind as it moved east then west, it stopped and moved slowly, there was no sound. I drove home for about 3 minutes and when I parked my car and got out I could still see the light. It was still moving west and was lower in the sky since I had moved about a mile north of it. I went inside my house and changed out of my clothes. About 5 minutes later I went outside looking south and the light was still moving west. I watched the light from my front porch for about 2 minutes then it moved up really fast and disappeared into the overcast cloud layer. The Orange light was very bright, brighter than the star Sirius shines.

I saw the Orange light again. It was straight out from my front porch low in the sky, just above the power lines. It moves slowly, stopping then moving again, to the east. I went to grab my cell phone; The Orange light was still there when I came back but it had stopped moving. As I watched it and tried to turn on my phone (battery dead) it just disappeared as I watched. This was a perfectly clear night. I could see the star Sirius and the Big Dipper, very clearly. The Orange light was brighter than the stars, but just a little dimmer than Sirius. The Orange light was visible for about two minutes. Then I saw a second Orange light much higher in the sky, coming from the northwest and moving in the direction where the first Orange light had vanished. These two lights were unmistakably the same color orange, as I had seen on December 2, 2008. The Orange light went to about the same area where the first one disappeared, and then it vanished.thewebstore

Portland, Oregon maybe 7 years ago t'was twilight, sky was clear enough i guess. Lit a cigarette and directly something caught my peripheral so i looked up and west a few hands above the horizon to see an iridescent circular dot about the size of the #2 or 3 Corky at arms length. A splash of chartreuse and white mixed mostly with orange. It was stationary when a small aircraft headed right for it and close made an obvious evasive move, the orb then took off lickety split with no trail, stopped near by, glowed a little brighter and cut out leaving nothing but sky and a plane that was buzzing along about 30 degrees off it's previous course. I watched for a few minutes but figured the show was over. If i had the means and could catch up i would have tracked that pilot down for a "did you see what i saw" pow wow. :)

I live in tralee ireland and also saw these orange lights flying particularly low at about half 8 on the 11/10/09 they seemed to move in tandem almost playfully. There was no sound despite them seeming to be quite low to the ground. There is no way they could have been chinese lanterns. There is only one explanation i can possibly think of and that is the recent use of unmanned aircraft. But, if that is indeed the case why would any one operate these very expensive toys of the military so carelessly?
