Guessing what aliens look like without looking at any kind of evidence is just that - guesswork. And by 'aliens' do you mean any alien, or just intelligent life forms? There is no reason to think they will look like us. Thinking that aliens will for some reason look the same as human beings strikes me as arrogance, and a need to see the human race as 'special'.
After all, I hear a lot of people saying they look like us, but no one saying we look like them...

I am very afraid. I have been reading these posts on UFO'S and the thing that scares me the most is that I am sharing a planet with people that are obviously out of their mind for believing some of the wacked-out stuff I have been reading. I apologize if I offend but there are posts on here by people who talk about alien civilizations as if they know all about them.

But, we do know all about them! The first major reference to this can found directly from the bible. Where on green earth do you think we even got the idea to have civilizations? It was from beings that used us to create them in the first place. They taught us all forms of science, religion, arts and aspects of war. Even the makeup you wear was a result of contact. Study ancient history, from any land or culture, to learn more.

Just because you only see a certain very small spectrum of visible light doesn't mean that is all there is to see. We only can see what we see with respect to UFO's when phased into our spectrum of awareness. We now know that there are multiple contacts just outside of the normal reach of our human capacity. It is not so much a matter of are we being visited. It is more along the lines of we are and have been sharing this earth space for quite some time with others.

Lol.That is all purely speculation, not fact, so you do know nothing about alien civilizations. I have read a little of ancient culture and the bible and while I do see how some things can be interpreted as being aliens, that's all it is, interpretation. What can you tell me about ancient civilization that makes you believe alien beings taught humans about science, religion, arts and aspects of war? I think you are not giving enough credit to humanity to say we did not develop our civilization.

Please take ownership of the idea; "that is all purely speculation from my perspective". How you think, or do not think, doesn't make something factual. Alright. I see a large amount of arguments with this theory. So, I'll shed some light:

If you haven't noticed, amongst all earth based organisms, we are the most peculiar and adapted of all. But, there are also other organisms well on their way at looking like us, mostly apes. This could be because the highest point of evolutionary adaptation may be the humanoid type. It's pretty logical considering the complexity of four legged creatures such as koalas, elephants and chimps. Each one is more intelligent than the last and the end point is in humans. so, be it as it is, It's only logical that the universal evolutionary chain always leads to humanoid life forms. Of course, everything depends on the planetary biosphere.

Changing the subject, there are theories that our evolution didn't take toll on it's own. Many now speculate that, perhaps, we were created by extraterrestrial entity's. This would explain part of the reason of why they are here and why they abduct us. Also, another more frightening theory is that they may consider us a food delicacy. After all, we eat other species on are planet, all of them being inferior to us. So, who's to say they don't eat us?

Finally, Some retired government officials stated that around the 1930's, a treaty was signed between earthlings and extraterrestrials, primarily the zeta reticulians (named by their solar system). This was around the time when the Philadelphia project took place (the project was about developing invisibility or cloaking technology. Unfortunately, the first test went horribly wrong after the sea vessel it was tested on vanished with its crew, only to re-appear a few years later with most of its occupants either fused to the ship itself or gone mad). Maybe some of the unknown aircraft we see are secret military projects.

if aliens exist (and statistically, there is a very good chance), they may be more, less, or equally advanced as us
chances are they will never visit us (the closest planet that has even a small chance of intelligent life is light-years away)
and they most likely will look nothing like us
