The basis for this whole argument is the ending date on the Mayan calender. I mean come on people, how about they just ran out of room? If they had made it wider, it would have been 2013, 2014, 2015.... I mean think about it really, our calenders end every twelve months. Maybe if they had sun-powered digital clocks back then people wouldn't be as freaked. AND.. another thing..... WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!! One day, ...

From my own encounters faced in life i believe god is many and represents a group and despite there advanced culture they have their demons. If you want to believe the bible writings it's shown a murderous contempt of mankind. Genocide on a wide scale by god yet he says he loves you? And he probably got here first so blocking others and portraying these others as the baddies. Lets say Lucifer in this case ...

Lets be real people. The whole 2012 thing can make you a little crazy if you let it. I personally do not believe destruction will kill us off. This is of course unless we focus on our demise with all of our negative emotions and worries!! But lets say for a minute if we did all die on that day! Would it really be that bad? After the smoke clears teen pregnancy, taxes, AIDS, Gangs, ...

How many of you who think that the world is ending at 2012 are going to admit to being horribly wrong if and when 2013 comes around?

Or will every one of you come up with some BS excuse, and postpone the "real" end of the world like hundreds of doomsdayers have done before you?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I see it, sooner or later there is going to be a massive social change. In particular, I think that (admittedly in a long time) capitalism is not going to work in the future, for the simple reason that we will have enough stuff to dampen out the profit motive. Providing there are no wars or anything to damage economic growth, ...
