When I come in contact with a dead soul it's very traumatic and may occur at anytime. If a soul is active I can sense it. This is followed by a severe physical drain as it materialized. You feel totally exhausted in this case, I can only describe the first account, it's like looking at the ripple affect from a large fire distorting the air. This apparition is very large at first and transparent slowly shrinking to the shape of a man. In doing so, becoming visible so much so I can describe him in detail down to his clothing worn at moment of death. This was my very first encounter of many to occur. I can only describe this moment as the most terrifying of my life. I tried to move but couldn't due to fear and could hear my heart pounding on approaching. He just glided towards me before taking a few steps. I tried shutting my eyes when I opened them it was in my face. It was as if our souls were linked not our minds. It knew my every secret as I did its. Then it moved away after showing me what it wanted and just faded away back into the ground. And that's what brought it all back. It's now gotten to the point where I can control the situation but am still on edge in such encounters. I will post more on this if it's approved. I will add to it.

All the best [new entry] After this encounter, I confronted the man running the scrap yard. Keeping the full story back I just said a presence of an old man was here and went into a detailed description of him. The wife was horrified and said it was her dad. The man got up and left, I made some excuse and left to make a statement to a police Sargent at fareham police station. After talking to locals and my then employer it came about the old man owned this scrap yard and disappeared some months before. I returned a 2ND time to the scrap yard this encounter was less traumatic although the physical drain still occurred and the mental link. On the 3rd visit I felt a calmness and the soul had moved on. Also, an unrelated incident on the same land an old well now buried contains the bleached bones of a medieval monk from funtley Abby thrown there to his death. All those years before the above is a shortened account of events. I have countless others, not all encounters occur in the dark most of mine are in broad daylight and I am sometimes asked to investigate disturbances, I do this for free. If no souls are present and something has happened [I call them flash backs] whatever happened plays out like a replay. This is different from a soul encounter, no physical drain occurs in this case it's like watching a film and I can walk into it to see close detail.

Hi wormwood it takes a great restraint and responsibility not to use my gift. I would normally only use it if threatened and it would go into overdrive at this point. As i said in my previous post most of its coming back after being hypnotized at a young age. I have not posted all my encounters yet, and have kept a low profile until joining this site. My encounters are very real and everything posted is true. I don't care if no one believes me, they would when i give a demo. I often get called upon to investigate strange occurrences and even past employers have enlisted my services. Maybe i should charge, i would be rich by now. As for my name it's a dig at religion. They have not got a clue what it's all about and what's going on as for the bully the others as i call them were responsible. I was causing a lot of interest at this point mum had me hypnotized at 8 and left me that way. Its worn off over the years. I am just scared what will happen when it does. I would probably solve a high profile murder case or try and find out the true events in the Maddie case and move on to other subjects. I don't know yet. What I do may make me a target of others.

"it takes a great restraint and responsibility not to use my gift." - Why? If you have this gift as you describe it your ability would be a great help to many - why not use it to help those who have lost loved ones, etc?

"I would normally only use it if threatened" - you WOULD normally use it, or you DO normally use it. Your mixing things up here - your talking as if you don't have the ability. It's as if your saying "If I had this ability I WOULD NORMALLY" What you should have said is: "I ONLY".

Just out of interest, what is your career? Do you have full time employment?
