Hi people

I'm in canada.
We here don't have an area 51, or so called sector 4 - but I'm sure there's at least 10 holes in our grounds where funny and shiny stuff is still sitting... forgotten.
Our military here stinks ...yes, you read correctly, and even our own happy recruits, at least most of them, as soon as they join the happy camp - they get drifted to patrol and control other 3rd world countries where people are still _not yet brain-wise_ to figure out that killing for a piece of land, or somebody's different opinion is seriously not wise enough. At least americans would try to make some kind of a deal ...first - might not be politically correct, but it wouldn't be stupid either.

We are always eager to talk here about space, but the only (thruthfully) big enough investment our government granted us, is to literally... put an "arm" up in space. Don't know if that's suppost to mean something - from my perspective, you might as well show a finger.
I believe in god - but honestly, churches these days, they look more like social clubs, that anything else. I also believe that you really don't have to dress up nicely - drive like an idiot trying to beat morning rush-hour traffic, run like hell, and nod your head when you finally walk through the big open gates, just to show everyone else that, yes - you made it. My mother, and Father - recently deceased, tought me, that the most important thing in life is to be good on the inside, as well as helping others when able. Try to contribute your best to the world, and you might not get forgotten quickly ...And, after you die, you become part of the overall cosmic conciousness.
The last part of that, I believe is more like a chicken soup, or the stuff inside those lava lamps - constantly going through never-ending (the grand scale) motions, and not as some of those scientists are still trying to make you believe (finit-horizon / expanding-contracting / cosmic-string "stuff") just so they keep everyone aware they are still here, and get another year's worth of grands, so they wouldn't have to get some real jobs, like everyone else - that actually keeps the real economy of this world going...

I believe that we really don't have to purchase expensive "chemically-trancated" foods, to make our bodies better - that's what major coorporations' donations are really for. Probably the same coorporations that will keep pushing all of us to keep buying carbon and oil-based propelled vehicles, instead of just finally making the better and proper move into pure nuclear/hydrogen/antigravity type creation of power. Really.. most of the people in south kenya, or jungles of congo, even in taiwan, deserts of arabia see an airplane or a helicopter fly by - do you honestly believe they care or want anything to do with that. To them, there's no difference wherether they see an airplane zoom by, spiewing crap and smoke into the atmosphere, or a silent saucer flies by, giving off... nothing more then a beautifull light-show on the sky. Besides... these people, that you all always see on those stupid donation-for-the-third-world-coutry style commercials on all tv channels - they really don't need donations. Give these people something to do, or better yet show them how to do and how to live properly - this way they wouldn't have to stay on the streets or inside their paper-houses, with nothing to do but over-populate and watch each-other constantly die.

Now, going back to our end of town, I don't have to believe... I know (because when you really think about it, it just makes sense - to cover my tail), that some - only some, of our more developed countries (most of them are and always will be busy playing the political catching up with the John'es games) have and utilize the (I call it) "next generation" power sources. Whether to create a better way of transfer, or to (create) re-develop our space-army, make cheap deals with more advanced aliens (hey - they left their planet, we as people still go through stupid-wars and arguments)... some of them really do work in star-trek earth. When you remember sr71 or the black bird as some called it, which was developed / created in the 60's, and finally russians and germans found out about them in the late 70's and 80's - that really has been some time ago... tic, tac, tic, tac, do you believe our scientific communities that really make progress (not those that keep saying that this year is really the year to find the cure for brest-cancer) still are on that same level? Just imagine what they are really using to move from point a, to point b, these days... and really, from my understanding, they probably don't have to use space vehicles either. Those things are only good and left for our movies' special effects.

Energy creation, teleportation, energy from ether (ie - draining the other dimensions), even time-travel, I really believe we do live these times. You might not see it, or hear much about it, but sometimes these things do affect us in ways our parents and grandparents only dreamed about.
I believe we, as humans, have the ability to control the weather. Even flying through clouds these days with a little bigger plane than sosna, and spraying them with certain harmless chemicals can avoid major storms and snows, instead you will get a heavy rain... americans, russians, germans - hell even french have experimented on this since the 70's, and quess what ...it works. Even Haarp these days (in certain locations, I suppose) is an old news.

To summerise my big bla - an evening ...well, spent - I believe, we as humans have the ability to avoid a major catastrophee, even as big as an asteroid hitting our only planet... our (still) blue, cradle.
Now... whether those in control will actually see it that way, then it will be averted, otherwise you might look at it as a grand-scale, planet-wise population control.
