Edgar Casey made some extraordinary and spectacular earth change predictions, probably the biggest one was of the rotational axis of the earth will change, and that's something that would be catastrophic, in fact something beyond what we could even imagine if this came into play.

Now if the tilt axis of the earth shifted slightly the entire mass of earth would have to re-configure itself, it would shift ocean basins, it would shift where valleys are, where mountains are.

Now he speaks of Japan going into the ocean, he warns that the east coast of America would not be spared, New York city would disappear, the southern portions of Carolina Georgia these will also disappear (and this will be much sooner).

He also suggests that Europe would change either geologically or climate logically, in the twinkle of an eye.

Casey foresaw these as the shifting of the poles, he stated that the great lakes would flow down through the Mississippi system straight into the Golf.

Well Casey who knew nothing about Plat-Tectonics said, that signs within the earth, would warn us of a coming pole shift.

The most dramatic prediction Edgar Casey made, were that there would be the onset off major earth changes from 1958-1998 and if it escalates again after this then you will know there is a coming pole shift.

He said there would be A lot more volcanic activity between 1958-1998, volcanic activity has increased by 500% in the last 50 years.

He also predicted a Surge, in violent storms and earthquakes.
In the last 10 years hurricane activity in the Atlantic has been at its highest, and an increasing report of earth quakes are being detected around the globe.

In 1999 German researchers, measured more than 200 earthquakes in a period of 7 months in the area of the arctic circle.

Is the world as we know it about to end ?

So what would happen ?

In 2012 the earth will be in exact alignment with the sun and the center of the milky-way galaxy. This is an event which only takes place once every 25,800 years.

No one knows what effect this extraordinary event will have on the earth.

But the Mayans believed it would be dire.

It might be like a crossing over of the Galactic Equator, you see when you go below south and north, magnetic currents will spin in opposite direction's, this means there might me a field effect reversal that takes place.

Geophysicists have a theory which is strikingly similar to the events predicted by the Mayan alignment, this phenomenon is called "Pole Shift".

Which the entire mantle of earth would shift in the matter of days, perhaps hours, changing the position of the North and South Pole, causing world wide disaster, earthquakes, tsunamis, the ultimate planetary catastrophe.

Now as unlikely as you may think any off this is true or going to happen, It is ALL !! backed by science.

Albert Einstein first suggested this in 1955, and a news statement from Princeton University reveals that, the poles have shifted before, and that the north pole rested in the middle of the Pacific 800 Million years ago Placing Alaska In the Equator.

Now even if this pole shift happened slowly it would dramatically result in Global climate change, and shifting sea levels.

And if this happened rapidly it would mean world wide disaster and mass extinction of species.

Now beyond the Mayan calender round, the German scholar Fosterman, discovered that the Mayans tracked time with yet a 3rd calender called "the long count".

Its importance is essential to their conception of time itself, its from "the long count" that they calculated doomsday and their predictions of the future.

They predicted every solar and lunar eclipse to this day, and all have happened except this one which happens in 2012.

The Long Count Calender Begun On the 13th August 3114 BC, and ends 5125 years later on the 21/12/2012.

Perhaps most important in the long count calender is one over arching theme, in Mayan cosmology there are 5 great cycles each one lasting around 5125 years and 4 have already passed.

Now the 4 Prior cycles all ended in Destruction, so when we talk about the Mayan doomsday props, they were talking about the ending of this cycle the very last day which equates to the 21/12/2012.

This indicates that the 5th and current cycle like its predecessors, will also end in destruction, if so what could trigger it, the answer may lie in a rare cosmic event foreseen by the Mayans more than 2000 years ago.

Now in December of 2012 the December solstice sun will line up with the center off our milky way galaxy, this happens once every 25,800 years at at the same time this happens another rare cosmic occasion happens, the earth completes its wobble around the axis this is called precession all this will come together on 21/12/2012.

How they could they predict something 26,000 years into the future remains a mystery, despite the ongoing investigations.

Remember how Nostradamus speaks of dead rising from their graves, and prophet mother Shipton warns "Storms will rage and oceans roar, old worlds will die and new be born".

So what this all basically means is that the world completes it wobble at the same time that the earth, sun, and milky way-galaxy all line up which could cause our axis to changing the north and south pole points on the globe, now if this happens there will be world wide disaster of major floods and a lot off land covered by water and change in climate.

You see the thing keeping our planet at a cool temperature is the icebergs in the poles, and the hot countries in the equator eg. Turkey, Australia, now if the axis moves and the poles get place on the equator and a hot dry country gets put where the poles should be, then the icebergs will melt and cause a worldwide flood, and a increase of the temperature off the globe.

Now lets all hope that the scientist that researched this and the Mayans, and Albert Einstein, and Edgar Casey were all wrong because if this happens, well ... we all pretty much Doomed and that's why the Mayans call it Doomsday.

You think the dinosaurs just all off a sudden went extinct or this might have killed them off millions of years AGO.

I have read books by and on Edgar Cayce. He was a very modest man of modest means, and unlike the famous medians and psychics of this day and age, he didn't charge for his services as he considered it a gift from God. Cayce was considered the greatest prophet of our time. I believe the post above has a lot of merit. I also watched the History Channel with great interest as the Bible Code was slowly unraveled and, if you saw this episode, and have read anything about cracking the Bible code, they have all come to fruition. I remember reading this prediction, the shifting of Earth's axis due to a catastrophic event, in Cayce's predictions. This makes sense to me, but maybe not to most viewers.
I realize there are many that will think this is total BS, however, everyone has a right to their opinion. I am a Christian, and believe in the second coming of Christ. However, the direction this world is going, I can't help but believe the world is quickly coming to end and soon.

21 Dec. 2012 is going to be a very rough time the end of the world as we know it, but everybody is forgetting about a bigger problem, Y2K when the Y2K bug hits it going to be total chaos, all the computer of the world is to think it's 1900 again, were gonna lose power, airplanes are gonna fall out of the sky by Feb. what people are still left alive are gonna be living as cavemen, of yea and one of item when we went from Dec. 31 1999 to Jan. 1, 2000 correct me if I'm wrong nothing happened then either, so come Jan. 2013 there will be a new problem that will never happen either

We know a few things about the solar system these days believe it or not - the sun will NOT align directly with the galactic center in 2012. That the Mayans could predict something like that is equally amazing at any rate, considering they wouldn't have known what a galaxy was in the first place. The simplest answer is that 21.12.12 is a SOLSTICE, where the sun is at it's southernmost declination in the sky. That's all it is, it happens every bloody year, its easy to measure, and almost every culture recorded them.
Oh, and how can the earth 'complete' its precession in 2012? It's a continuous cycle man. I could say it completed it's cycle yesterday or tomorrow and it would be just as accurate. I might point out also that there can be no connection between precession and the earths orbit around the sun. Our solar system is simply not currently situated so that the sun could align directly between us and the GC. If it ever does, it would be a cycle involving the whole solar system during its orbit around the galaxy, not the wobble of one planet!

About pole shift, yes the evidence suggests the pole shifted by as much as 50 degrees 800 million years ago, and that it took anything up to 20 million years to happen. If it happens that slowly then what would we be worried about? Its the least important event on our human scale, we would have literal ages to adapt to it. No evidence exists to say it would happen in the space of a year or a day.

The Mayans were deadly accurate with their forecasts, and it is worrying as to why it ends on this date ?
