Lets be real people. The whole 2012 thing can make you a little crazy if you let it. I personally do not believe destruction will kill us off. This is of course unless we focus on our demise with all of our negative emotions and worries!! But lets say for a minute if we did all die on that day! Would it really be that bad? After the smoke clears teen pregnancy, taxes, AIDS, Gangs, Middle East issues, Racism, Hate crimes, G. Bush and all other illness would be a thing of the past. If you look at the current outlook of our species it does not seem to be getting any better anyway. That statement might have just depressed a few of you...But you get my point! Lets flip our future outlook and see a bright future. Lets prepare for the best possible outcome. After all the drama so many members of the human race have gone through from racism to slavery to genocide. It just does not seem fair that the universe would allow us all to perish just before we got back on our feet! I see a bright Future!

Yes i agree with you, a few would survive any major event. What worries me is if an asteroid got to close and a rouge nation fires a missile breaking up the asteroid. It as i believe would totally obliterate the earth and no one wins.
