You may notice from any posts that I have sent that I am quite a believer in apocalyptic prophecies, however, not this Mexican flu one. A great many people who have had it have recovered from it and it is no worse than any common and garden flu. This is just a scaremongering tactic. The Governments like to scare the public; that way, they can control us. The Government are in league with the greedy pharmaceutical companies( yes, the nasty people in white coats who torture animals !!! ). Have you noticed they haven't wasted any time in creating a vaccine. Seems they want to create a vaccine for everything nowadays !!! For example, the measles vaccine, why should there be a vaccine for measles ? I caught measles as a child and so did all children from my generation as I'm sure many of you will remember and we are none the worse for it, it strengthened our immune system.

We have immunity to a lot of illnesses since we have survived plagues during the previous decades. We have survived but because this is a new type of flu we are not protected from it. If a vaccine is made right to protect new citizens from getting it, there still could be a big problem. If the "SWINE FLU" has a great enough resistance to the vaccine it could possibly mutate into an even more deadly and lethal disease causing future vaccines to FAIL! So that could be our downfall. Also, since we know the future maybe we caused the doomsday ourselves by KNOWING the future or by trying to stop it. In doing so we actually are making it worse. We don't know but it's a possibility. That's why we should never look into the future. We don't know if knowing about the future will cause doomsday.

We should have closed the borders a long time ago. Imagine how many Mexicans already have the flu and are now here in the US. They are the cause of the rise in unemployment, they are taking our jobs, social security, making lines longer anywhere you go, increasing traffic jams and much more. They are enjoying the American Dream without citizenship. What the hell is going on!!!! The US is going to tip over from all these people who belong in their own country.

It was all just invented by the pharmaceutical companies in order to make profits. It's not good business for them to make you healthy.

First of all, illegal immigrants aren't "stealing" our jobs. You can blame the greedy companies who want cheaper labor. It's the immigrants who want jobs, but it's the companies that give them the jobs of legal American citizens. Also, some people come here illegally because, for one reason or another, they cannot stay in their own country. Some face death in their countries, and sending them back would be like murder. Lines are going to get longer anyway, due to people living longer, so you better get used to it. These people wouldn't be illegal immigrants if we lowered our requirements. I believe anyone should be able to enjoy the American Dream, with or without citizenship. Most Americans weren't originally from North America, anyway. In fact, if the Bering Straight theory is to be believed, no one was originally from North America, but rather the Old World. But we could say the "natural" inhabitants of this land are actually Native Americans, or "Indians". I hardly think we should say these illegal immigrants aren't welcome here when we probably weren't very welcome here ourselves.

I'm inclined to agree with the above comment. I'm from the UK and immigration therein has really got out of hand. Unlike the US, Britain is only a small island and all our resources are being exhausted. No country can put up with too much immigration. Not only do the immigrants settle but they start families and so the overcrowding continues, the resulting families eventually becoming indigenous as they were born into the country their parents immigrated to.

I feel so sorry for you. Imagine having to sit in a traffic jam just so some people can get a chance at a happy life. They are like so selfish.

What about the cluster of UFOs being reported in Mexico and the emergence of Swine Flu? Is it an alien virus made to try and wipe us out?

You'd have to be REALLY paranoid to think Giant Space Lizards are controlling the governments of the world (Or rather, ARE the governments of the world), releasing some strain of the flu that already existed, hyping it up to maximum, then handing out deadly masks that are supposed to help. Hell, that kind of paranoid needs a name in it's self. I mean, I'm paranoid, but not NEARLY that paranoid. Please present the logic behind everything and anything you say from now on.

I remember that there was a TV series on these where the reptiles (disguised as humans) were controlling the government and they were trying to create a virus to exterminate all humans. That was about 15 to 18 years ago.
