There is no planetary alignment at any time in 2012. Instead of talking about 'what we are going to do about it', why not check for yourselves?

its actually galactic alignment which is a point where all gravitational force towards out galaxy's centre (the alleged "black hole" in the center of the Milky Way), which will cause our north and south poles to switch.

Even Jesus when asked by his disciples about the end times , he told them that you will hear rumors of war , blood shed , etc etc . But he never gave them a date and time .Who in the hell are the Mayans? 2012 calender and a planet alignment crap.Who ever the mayans were or the eygptians with their great culture and their great building structures were not able to avoid death ! Every generation that lived on earth had to deal with hardship and difficult times.The biggest threat to our very existence is the danger of the "THE FEDERAL RESERVE" who slave us all ! death would be mercy for all of us because after all we are the danger that we must over come .

All the the Mayans were talking about was the end of a cycle or time period. I predict that after the end of this year, Dec 31, 2009 that something is going to happen. The Mayans, who were a savage people who sacrificed thousands of people to various gods that are not real does not sound like a very advanced people to me. All this stuff about 2012 is utter nonsense!

in history it was said that it was seen in the stars just like how the calendar was made, that something would come in the year 2012. They studied the sky a lot not much to do in those days and they were right about everything else...
