How is it intelligent and balanced to believe something based on prophecy with no scientific merit? The very things these prophecies are describing should be accessible to science. But science can't substantiate any of it! And while some of the theories being thrown around have some basis in science, it is misused, misrepresented, and downright pseudo.

i am part of a team who has worked a lot with this forum and who knows how serious the work is that is tried to be done here on this site.

just imagine that the research that we have been doing for the past years (we are fifteen people) has mislead us to think that we are 80% right, imagine that it is only 60%, we can even go further and think that it is only 30% sure, know that society creates and distributes vaccines for illnesses that have only a 5% chance to develop in the world...we, with only 30% being sure of what we know are supposed to be fools?

What's ironic about this is, you're right, the chances are not zero. But anyone could have told you this because the earth has been smacked more than once by a comet. And the odds are it will happen again in the future. But 2012? Possibly. But I'm not holding my breath. BTW, 80% assurance is pretty dang high. I checked out the links provided. It appears Trinty and Charly are out there scanning for 2012 forums to post their ad in. And it's the same in each one. What I find ironic is whenever there are dissenters, Trinity cops an attitude and tells them to go somewhere else to complain. Hello! She is the one going to their site and she has the nerve to tell them to go elsewhere? And Charly explains why no New Agers are invited. But it's a pretty sucky explanation as he is lumping all New Agers into a single category. One of laziness and slothfulness. What did Trinity say about studying psychology? Hopefully they will learn something about judging others.

BTW, where is Trinity? Oh Trinity, come out, come out wherever you are! Aren't you the one who said you will answer all questions? As stated, your silence speaks louder than your words. Is that crickets I hear?

And I doubt we will ever find out. Although I no longer believe it's a scam, Trinity and Charly are far too vague in their statements. And if they really had scientists onboard, then where is their scientific evidence for whatever they believe is going to happen? So not only are they vague, they are liars too.

LOL!!! As for me, I would rather be at ground zero if something really did happen. Because if communes like the one Trinity is talking about spring up all over the place, they will constantly be under attack by survivors in need of food. And I don't think I could bring myself to kill someone when they're already down on their luck. Besides, if a comet large enough to cause global devastation did hit, how do these communes think they're going to grow food? There would be too much debris in the atmosphere blocking out the sun. Not to mention the temperatures would plummet. And even if they did manage to create a huge stockpile of food, it would run out long before the skies cleared. I wonder if their scientists thought of that one? Anyway, a quick death is preferable to slow starvation.
