It depends hows you count power. Economically, the EU is very slightly ahead of the U.S. However, it does not have nearly as much power as the federal government. In the EU, everyone is happy to vote for a peacekeeping occupation, but nobody seems to want to send any troops. Anyway, militarily the U.S. is miles ahead of any opposition, and actually has the capability to use it.

3 No Obama isn't the Antichrist. It is because there are some American groups who are still opposing the existence of Obama as the president of America and sometime back they predicted that for them they did not want Africans in their country "America " which is so bad on this earth.

Hi everyone, just a short story. Lets just say it's a hypothesis for now. Man has colonized the future moon with a select chosen few. The predicted asteroid threatens earth on its present course. It will pass close to our atmosphere causing mass world wide extinction. On the other hand, someone fires a missile at it causing the total destruction of earth triggering a massive eruption blowing it apart. The moon colony protected by its location is captured by gravity of outer planet Saturn as earth no longer exists. WHAT will you choose?....let the asteroid do gods work? so man must start again....OR try firing a missile to deflect it? You must choose. The moon inhabitants of the future having mastered time travel come back to warn us not to fire missile saving earth. Those same beings traveling back to biblical times leaving hidden messages, teaching us morals to change the world yet not directly interfering and erasing any memories of abductions. Governments aware of events unfolding to mass destruction as we are in our own segment of time that's already happened. I must cut it short at that. There is one thing: In any modern country and society RELIGION AND POLITICS should be two separate issues. Unfortunately there is the USA the most backward Western Society on earth. Take the measuring system, the health care, the education costs, and many other things. All the electricity is produced by coal burning plants, and here we talk "green"! We have enough depleted uranium, that can be burnt in special breeding reactors, and would give us enough clean energy for some 2000 years. But we can not use this source because of fear of terrorists. Why does the whole world hate the USA ? Think of this before religion.

I agree completely. The United States is lucky to have a secular constitution, but they don't seem to adhere to it very well.

Ordinarily I have no problem with your posts. I actually agree with the majority! But when you disrespect my country, you have gone too far. Empire? Please tell me what countries the US is lording over. And your comment about Christians was out of line as well.

It's quite possible the US could implode giving the divisions that currently exist between the liberals and conservatives. This is in large part to a**holes like Rush Windbag and Sean Hannity who thrive on sowing hate and discontent. But for the most part, Americans are united and pull together when needed. Follow the news when natural disasters hit and you'll see individuals from all spectrums working side by side. Us Americans tend to show our true colors when the chips are down. So don't be selling us short so quickly!

As far as your empire comment is concerned, if you've been following the news about Honduras, then you must have read that Obama is trying to force the OAS to take a more active role in resolving this crisis. The message is, the US is just one partner of many within the Americas. But it is the Hondurans themselves who are pushing for the US to take the lead, including the deposed leftist president (apparently his pal Hugo Chavez doesn't have the political clout he thinks he does). And the same holds true for many other American countries. If the US were an empire, don't you think we would be imposing our will on all within this hemisphere rather than looking for a united concensus?

Moving on to your Christian comment, you are in no position to be making such a claim as, they do not even know what a Christian is. It doesn't matter what denomination one follows. So long as they accept JC as their lord and saviour, they are Christian regardless what you believe.

In the future I suggest you think about what you're commenting on and check your facts first. Because this American will not stand for illogical and poorly considered anti-US rhetoric. If your claim is legitimate, I will be the first to stand up and agree with you. But if it's not, don't post it because there will be individuals such as me that will call you onto the carpet. Don't get me wrong because I'm not telling you that you can't post whatever you like. I would never do that! But I am telling you to make sure your facts are straight before doing so because I have no compunctions about taking someone down when they're wrong, even an ally.

No much of it is spread over places like Kosovo and Iraq, the cost of a clean up would bankrupt the US.

If you really think about it. The anti-christ isn't going to show everyone his or her true colors,in other words he or she is not going to appear evil (like the other post said," loved by everyone",) Has anyone looked into Oprah's new church, the around about way their belief is similar to the bible, but they don't believe in Jesus Christ, and they try to make it seem close enough to Christianity that the average Joe could believe it. They have millions of followers already, Think about it, she is my top pick.
