No one knows the final day of the world, only god knows.

Ok, according to the bible, the end of the world is when Jesus comes to earth, right? Right. And since the Mayans believed in their own gods, they wouldn't know/care about that. (plus Jesus wasn't born then.) Just something to think about people.

Since I know that 2012 is NOT going to come... since the CHRISTIANS came up with this crap... What's going to happen to the Christians when the asteroid or whatever doesn't happen? What do you think is going to happen to the Christians since they have came up with this to scare people and try and make us all be nice to each other. I KNOW THAT THE DOOMS DAY ISN'T GOING TO COME!

Have you ever heard someone say this? "Sure, it turned out to be a beautiful day, but I'm glad I brought my umbrella anyway because I'd rather have it and not need it, than not have it and wish I did." Whether you believe that 12/21/12 is going to happen or not is completely irrelevant. All that matters is that you be prepared in case it does. If you end up not needing your "umbrella", well, great....but what would happen to you if Planet X is for real?

Please don't assume that all Christians believe that the world is going to be destroyed in 2012. I'm a Christian and I know it's complete and utter rubbish.

First of all, Dooms day has too many names to count ( ex. judgment day). and even if it doesn't happen I think it would be a turning point for mankind to realize that we aren't always right or perfect. We as a species have to recognize that before it's too late. The turning point doesn't have to be deadly it can be interpreted as "the great enlightenment". I only hope that "doomsday" doesn't occur, but that we as mankind realize our differences and unite because of them, or maybe then we will actually see a doomsday.

Christians don't believe that dooms day is gonna come they just believe in god and just like everyone in the world Christians do not want dooms day to come even if it is coming or not. The point is that if god wants us all to go to heaven then we are all going there is something in the bible that says that one day dooms day is gonna come and god chooses to take us all to heaven. There's no crap that says Christians believe that dooms day is gonna come just because we make it up. Thanks for reading!!!!

ok, I am also a christian and have heard of time getting messed up in 2011 because it is too cold for anyone to wake up.... That seems barely possible but you never know. Also, it is not Christians who believe in 2012 doomsday, it is the Mayan calendar, if you were to research it you would likely be surprised at its accuracy but it was wrong about doomsday once, probably it will be again.... but, third time is the charm right? Don't worry though, this would only be the second guess at doomsday on the Mayan calendar.
