Check it out and see if it's not true. I say it again GOD LOVES YOU.

But it hit me today that this could be some excuse or such to boost the numbers of followers in the church and to believe in the Christian religion. I can imagine this seeing that the modern world we live in is diversifying with every second and people who follow most major religions are starting to see possible flaws in texts and scriptures such as the Bible thus are leaving and discontinuing their belief.

 I could talk more but I'm interested in what people have to say

Peace.

Doesn't god deserve a big house on the hill? Doesn't god deserve a Maserati and not a Yugo? Doesn't god deserve a circular driveway to park his car on? Doesn't god have Jesus to keep the lawn nice?

Christianity is just another in a long! line of mythical belief systems that has come down through history and woven itself into a particular culture or society during a particular time in our history. Like all myths that proceeded Christianity there was the Fear and Guilt complexes invented. If you believe in this god you will go to a nice place called heaven. If you were bad, well we know what awaits you!

The bible is FULL of inaccuracies, and kiddie stories of talking snakes (can your snake talk?) and talking donkeys, burning bushes, whales swallowing people and spitting them out days later, a young 12 or 13 year old girl getting pregnant by a Holy Ghost and a 30 year old man who can bring dead people back to life. Now because these stories were invented 2000 years ago Christians believe this stuff, mostly because their parents told them, and their grand parents told their parents and so on and so on, kind of like the Santa Claus story, however we know Santa is real. If a young 12 or 13 year old girl today told someone she was impregnated by a Ghost or Spirit and a young man telling people he can actually bring decomposing dead people back to life again, we would ALL be calling for the guys with the white coats now wouldn't we? YES!

I laugh when someone disputes the many silly stories in the bible that don't make one bit of sense. Notice the catholic priests never touch those stories in the bible in their sermons, the talking snake story, or walking on water trick, it's usually the 4 gospels they refer to. When someone disputes a story in the bible the christian always gets mad but has an answer. NEVER FAILS! The christian RE-WORDS, RE PHRASES, RE-EXPLAINS, RE-INTERNET and RE-HASHES that passage in question, changing first or last letters of words in the passages to make this christian JIGSAW PUZZLE PIECE FIT! and says "there that's what it really means" HUH!

If God REALLY inspired men to write a book about him, wouldn't you believe that a God would make the BIBLE P-E-R-F-E-C-T-L-Y C-R-Y-S-T-A-L C-L-E-A-R, that after 2000 years we wouldn't have to refer to theologens to explain what it all means!! and each theologen you talk has a different answer to the question. I hate this "we are right and everyone else is wrong" religion BS. I opted out of organized religion 15 years ago and I am much better person without it. I treat everyone equally whatever their belief or color or country of origin. Not too many Christians can say that..........and shame on them.

Bible states when Jesus was on the cross he promised one of the thieves by the end of the day he would be with Jesus in paradise........check it out. NEVER HAPPENED! Christians always have explanations for that, and every christian has a different explanation. (my head is spinning!) Another passage Jesus promised some of the 12 apostles he would return while they were still alive within their generation......NEVER HAPPENED! What's going on Jesus? Elvis has never returned and neither will a man named Jesus. Ex-catholic 60 years old. I know right from wrong, and fact from fiction. The bible sure is a load of fiction.

No 2012 is not a hoax to boost follower as far as I can hear 99.9 Percent of christians do not even know about 2012. Just the one who use this forum are sent by the Lord God to set the record straight of the truth. Most of the comments reject the truth of the son of god and turn to the authority of the fallen angel of humanism. In the spirit God sees humanism as a fallen angel that was kicked out of heaven. It has a head of a lion the body of a eagle but it`s wings are cut off, it has the feet of a man and the heart of a human being, all fallen angels are not natural and are alien to the flesh of man, where as demons are natural spirits. This beast is given to rule over humanism giving words to say the heart of hatred of religion, where as atheism is selfish rejecting God but it is all right is others people are follow God, Just do not bother atheist with God. Some Christians do try to scare people to God is they use rhetoric pay no mind to them, for rhetoric is not of God

Personally I believe in God and Jesus but after that I'm an atheist

"Mate",Your quote could be the most contradictive in the history of the world in the past, present, and future!!!
Hey, the devil and all his angels believe in God and Jesus too. Let me see if I can be as contradictory as you. How about if I said "I believe that the earth is round and has water on it, but I also believe it is square and with no water."

Show me the Bible verse that tells you how jet propulsion works, or the correct ratio of solid-to-liquid fuel, and I might start to believe that.

CarboKill wrote:Well, it's like they say..there are conspiracy theories, and to be honest I believe that the only true conspiracy is that George Bush planned 9/11, but what I really came to post is....God doesn't exist, because if he does, then he would stop all bad things happening, and plus, the Bible is all lies. It was made by a bored pensioner. (lol, ok, that was a joke, but it was made by metaphorical "gangsters". I mean, religions hate each other 0_o) The Mayan calender..that's a different story. made about 5000 years ago...it has a third part to the calendar, translated to "the long count"..started at 1st august, 5000-something BC, and ends at apparently..21st December 2012. Why didn't they continue to count? because it will be when nothing on the world will be able to add another date onto it. Let's look at this scientifically though: Thanks to galaxy alignments simulation technology, we can see where everything in our universe will be at a given date. Jupiter, (which has started a new theory...that it controls the suns gravity and flares form sunspots, is 99% true. Why? because it is obvious, if you know the facts..which would take too long to read. In other words, Jupiter has a significantly different orbit to anything else. It's centre of gravity...is OUTSIDE the sun..and it is a planet. This means that it can cause radiation to flirt out anywhere.) will apparently be aligned with the sun - and so will all the other planets, on the 21st of December 2012. Jupiter will force one planet that is in a correct position (for life to form) to fall. Slowly but surely, earth has been moving further and further to the bottom of the galaxy. This means that according to the Mayan calendar, until 21/12/12, Earth will be "above" the galaxy..along with everything else. But on this day, Earth will be directly at the side of the galaxy....and then after the day, we will see the sun from below it. The atmosphere will collapse, we will probably boil and then explode thanks to radiation...before a meteor even hits. But I said "PROBABLY"...because there is obviously a 10 million to 1 chance that a meteor will hit us..well, it WILL, if the atmosphere collapses, but we still somehow survive, then the meteor will get through because it won't be able to burn up. It will hit in the exact same crater as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs - in Mexico. This will do.....well...IMMENSE damage to the world, and then it will officially be doomsday. It HAS to be true, I mean, the Mayan Calendar was made more than 5000 years ago...and they predicted this day? Then we look at the simulator and all the planets will align? And coincidence number 2 - a meteor will pass (or hit, if this is true...) earth on the day? I'm convinced. After all, we can't live for ever, so we're screwed anyway.
if all the planets line up the gravitational pull will cause a major earth quake
