If you look at all the war and conflict in the world, the vast majority can be traced back to religion. WWII…Hitler persecuting the jews because he couldn't stand the fact that he was Jewish. Wars between Israel and Palestine…purely based on religion…all the trouble in Ireland, fighting because the Catholics couldn't get along with the protestants. You preach peace and love towards all men but the moment someone disagrees with you, you persecute them. That's what I call hyopricitical. Maybe once religion has faded into nothing people will actually be able to get along.
I realise that most people on this website are probably yanks who blindly believe in a God with no proof that he actually exists (and no, there is NO proof that he exists as you can't prove a lie to be true), and are probably going to get really upset with what I have said, but I don't care. I am entitled to my beliefs just as you are, and it's not my fault that you don't have the intelligence to see the truth. What else should I expect from a nation that voted George Bush back into power even after they knew what he was like?
Oh, one last thing…evolution happened. Deal with it.

I live in Amerika, but I am no Yank. I am Irish, Scottish & French. This country didn't vote George Bush Jr. into office either time- the Electoral College did. Google it up. Never in the history of this country has a president actually been elected by its own people. Think about it. I've had to, all of these years- my mother became an Amerikan citizen on the very day that President Kennedy was assassinated. I was seven at the time.
The Troubles in Ireland, especially lately, have NEVER really been about religion, but about politics. There ought to be ONE Ireland, for the Irish, & that's that. End of the Troubles- end of long, sad, horrible story. So there. God has little if anything to do with it. It's all the fault of human beings.
If you don't believe in God- and I think that you'd like to, that it's poisonous religions that you actually hate- don't worry, They believe in you. I am a Gnostic; there is a God the Mother as well as a God the Father who created all of the Universe. As well as you yourself. Take heart. Gnostics have the oldest known Bible, have no churches or harmful doctrines, and practise the good of all faiths. We have never started or condoned any wars.
