That doesn't mean the God proclaimed today of which is often a lie is the true God who is proclaimed by the minority proclaimed not out of power of arragance, or out of damand and self-seeking reason. But the God for what God is... Love.

I understand people say they have a "personal" relationship with gods, and feel that they do. Looking ,although, at the only officially sanctioned text available on the nature of the god of Judaism and Christianity(if thats the one referred to here,in all the responses), The Bible┞¢ ® .It doesn't seem that theres a whole lotta love there. The god who authored it was quite specific. His son had to endure terrible torture, humiliation, and a horrific ,lingering death.PLUS he had to go to hell.I doubt satan was offering him crepes and strawberry syrup. But he did get to live again.Signifying the debt paid for in full?. No. That process seems to indicate a high level of hostility. After that process sin was supposed to be paid for.Right?

When I pay for a gallon of gas, I get it and drive away.
I don't walk back to my vehicle, wait(with the line building) for more than 2000 yrs ,and then when I pump it ,nothing ,and the attendant says "you only get to PUMP the gas if I approve of you.!"........"GO TO HELL"

I don't quite understand what Jesus and canada have in common with the topic at hand. Oh and that petrol analogy doesn't quite work in christianity simply because Jesus paid for our sins. You would be paying for the petrol... Very different. If we follow jesus and accept God's forgiveness our sins are paid for! If you're paying for petrol it means you didn't follow God and said "I'm paying for these sins myself" A follower of God has the reversal. Sounds stupid doesn't it? but if you think about it it makes alot of sense, I mean if you follow God, and accept what he has to offer you (positive things anyway) he will pay for your sins... What I don't understand is people complian more about that then abiding by the rules of a phone plan contract.. which follows the same basis but has much more unequality and unfairity to it.

The difference between a phone and god is that with a phone you can actually talk to someone and they will talk back.

Does the person talking to you on the phone tell the truth ALL the time? God speaks to us thru the "Holy Spirit" which is within all of us and NEVER lies! Unless of course, you do not know the difference between, right and wrong.

Mr. Po, I really enjoyed your message, it's the only one so far that seems to be right on the money, no rantings, no ravings, no emotional mistruths, just plain and simple - very pleasing to have read it and been informed. Thank you..

What a joke! A God of love wouldn't allow poverty, hunger, wars, hatred, violence, rapists, murderers, sickness, suffering, etc. Unless God is a sadist and he loves to see all of us in a world of wackos. If God exists, he abandoned us. He might have created our world as a draft. As a kid would do with no experience in life. Don't get me wrong. I'm wealthy, healthy and happy. But how many are not? How many suffer from birth? We are just a microbe that came to life. We die... and that IS it. I don't believe in any Armageddon. We make the world on our own. Jesus was a great prophet but that's all he was... as many other in his time. He was just better than the rest.

I merely observe what happened and what's happening. War, war, war. From the beginning of time... and forever... until we destroy it all on our own. If I'm wrong, I'll be doomed. But I'll ask: ''WHY?'' And then, I'll ask for forgiveness for my ignorance. But for now, as a microbe, I can't have blind faith in God with all the atrocities we live in. Of course there is a lot of good in life... but with too much evil for millions of years. If they exist (God and Evil), than evil always took over. If God really exists, he never had the best over evil. Evil always strikes back. Can't He just eliminate evil for the benefit of His children? After all, God would be God... with all power over all. But noooooooo! He must let it be. Probably for his amusement. I'm sorry to offend many who believe in God. Don't forget. You alone make the world of what it is.

Yeh i,m kinda confused.com myself about God and Gods love when he lets all this bad s*** go on. Now i,m thinking about the book of revelation and the horrors we will have to endure if that book has been translated correctly and if it has any truth whatsoever. See i got a 8 year old son whom i love so much and to think Gods love would let him be hurt in any way, even one hair on his head sickens me. So i cant get my head around this "jesus is coming so we all got to suffer". Jesus is welcome back anytime but maybe not with all the fire and brimstone, is that so unreasonable?
