As a hobbyist astronomer I was surprised to have never heard of this 2012 comet till just now and when I came across a link to this site I thought...Excellent a new comet!
But then I started to read and I realized that no one who posts here actually has even a rudimentary understanding of Astronomy and in most cases even a basic understanding of the structure of our own solar system.

This is just some strange sort of fear mongering conspiracy tripe, web site.
Most of the people posting here would do well to check their science with a 6th grader before embarrassing themselves by posting.

I agree completely. The total lack of even basic knowledge of astronomy is astounding. Sad, and frightening. Well, to quote Abraham Lincoln,
"Better to remain silent a be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." Some of the statements made on this site certainly remove all doubt.
